The Feast of Corpus Christi ‘Day of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Jesus Christ the Lord’, also known as the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, is a Christian liturgical solemnity celebrating the Real Presence of the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus in the elements of the Eucharist.

The feast is liturgically celebrated on the Thursday after Trinity Sunday or, “where the Solemnity of The Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ is not a holy day of obligation, it is assigned to the Sunday after the Most Holy Trinity as its proper day”.

 

I am the living bread that has come down from heaven, says the Lord. Anyone who eats this bread will live forever.

 

A procession of the Blessed Sacrament was held after the Holy Mass. The drizzling rain did not discourage the parishioners from joining the processions which was almost 1km distrance starting from the church main foyer, through the back entrance into liu Shan Bang street and back into the church compound from the main gate at Liu Sha Bang.
